Midnight notes

01

Clean skin first

Cleanse, pat dry, and give it a minute before the serum. Night formulas work best on a clear canvas, and a damp face dilutes the first layer.

02

Thinnest to thickest

Serum, then cream, then eye cream patted in around the orbital bone. Each layer should feel absorbed before the next; if it is still slick, you used too much.

03

Give it the whole night

Apply at least twenty minutes before your head hits the pillow so the cream sets on your skin rather than the pillowcase. Then sleep. That part is non-negotiable.

Tales told by moonlight

Every culture that looked up at night found a story in the moon, and a cat usually sat somewhere nearby. Tap a card.

Egypt · Bubastis 🐈‍⬛ The cat goddess of the night Tap to reveal Bastet, the cat-headed goddess, kept watch over the home after dark and came to be linked with the moon. Cats were so honoured in Egypt that Herodotus reports families shaved their eyebrows in mourning when one died. Why there is a cat on this page
China · Mid-Autumn 🐇 The rabbit in the moon Tap to reveal Look at the full moon and Chinese tradition sees a rabbit, pounding the elixir of immortality for Chang'e, the goddess who drank it and floated up to live there alone. Mooncakes are still shared under it every autumn. An overnight treatment, of sorts
India · Vedic tradition ☾ Chandra, lord of the cooling light Tap to reveal In Vedic lore the moon god Chandra rides a chariot pulled by white horses, and his light is said to be cooling and nourishing where the sun's is fierce. Ayurvedic tradition still favours the night for the slow, restoring parts of a routine. The tradition behind a night cream
Greece · Mount Latmus ✦ Selene and the sleeping shepherd Tap to reveal Selene drove the moon across the sky each night and fell for Endymion, a shepherd so beautiful she asked Zeus to grant him eternal sleep, so he would never age. The original beauty sleep, if a slightly extreme one. Eternal youth, by nap
Japan · Tsukimi 🍡 A festival for looking up Tap to reveal Tsukimi, the autumn moon-viewing, is a night set aside for doing almost nothing: sweet rice dango stacked in a pyramid, pampas grass in a vase, and a long quiet look at the moon. A ritual with no product at all. Slow down on purpose
Everywhere · Still true ✧ Beauty sleep is not a metaphor Tap to reveal The phrase "beauty sleep" has been in print since the 1800s, but the idea is older than that. Research since suggests the saying had a point: skin's repair and renewal processes run hardest overnight, which is why the night step matters. Science caught up to the saying

The full story

The Night Time Ritual — Repair, Renew, and Wake Up Glowing

Your skin does its deepest repair work while you sleep. The Night Time Ritual is a three-step night skincare routine built around that window — pairing a barrier-repairing niacinamide night cream, a bakuchiol eye cream, and a peptide-powered turmeric mask to renew skin overnight. Clean, fragrance-free formulas. Leaping Bunny certified. Gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Step 1 — Night Repair Cream A rich anti-aging night cream that works while you rest. Niacinamide improves uneven skin tone and strengthens the skin barrier, while shea butter with sunflower, almond, and grape seed oils deeply nourishes overnight. Hyaluronic acid and panthenol flood skin with intense hydration and soothe dryness — so you wake up to plump, soft, visibly refreshed skin.

Step 2 — Restorative Night Eye Cream An overnight eye cream for dark circles, fine lines, and crepey under-eyes. Bakuchiol — the gentle, plant-based retinol alternative — smooths fine lines and supports overnight renewal without irritation. A ceramide complex with cholesterol and squalane rebuilds the delicate eye barrier, while caffeine, pea peptide, and vitamin C brighten dark circles and energize tired eyes.

Step 3 — Revitalizing Mask A brightening turmeric face mask that doubles as an overnight treatment. Turmeric, green tea, and caffeine wake up dull, tired skin, while a ceramide complex, squalane, and shea butter replenish moisture and barrier strength. Advanced peptides — palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 — support visible firmness and skin renewal.

Why it works Nighttime is when skin's natural repair cycle peaks — and every formula here is built for it. Hyaluronic acid and ceramides restore what the day stripped away, bakuchiol delivers retinol-level renewal gently, and peptides signal firmer, smoother skin by morning. This is overnight skin repair, done the clean way.

How to use: Each evening on cleansed skin, pat the eye cream gently around the orbital bone. Massage the Night Repair Cream over face and neck. Use the Revitalizing Mask 2–3 nights per week in place of or layered over your night cream — apply a thin layer and rinse in the morning.
